The association manages the refuge in Saintes for pilgrims to Compostela.

It is adjacent to the crypt where the tomb of St Eutropius lies.

Made out of Saintonge stone, this lively place has been made available free of charge to the association by Saintes municipality.

Since April 2002, more than twenty “hospitaliers,” members of the association, are welcoming pilgrims, every day from 16h to 19h and from April 1 until October 31 upon presentation of their Credencial.

We welcome you off season as well. Simply call us: 06 73 56 94 04

It is 8 € for the night. (Pilgrims are welcomed for one night only unless they have serious health reasons to stay on).

The refuge has a capacity of 6 beds. Groups may not stay; they are referred to other structures in the city of Saintes such as a youth hostel or the diocese House.

Cyclists are welcome.

Should the shelter be full, according to the Jacobean tradition, we shall do the necessary to find you a place to stay such as a former pilgrim’s home for example.

It is fully equipped. You will find appliances necessary for preparing meals, electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes and cutlery, etc..

You can telephone us the evening before or on the morning of your arrival :

No reservations will be accepted via the Internet
